Our work
Our first client projects are in production
We're a small studio, and we only publish real client work with written permission — never mockups presented as case studies. The portfolio here will fill in as projects launch. In the meantime, every inquiry gets the same direct attention from Jaxon, Markus, and Doty that our first clients are getting.
Curious what a project actually includes? Browse the full services list for what's built into each type of project.
Why Harborline Co.
What working with us actually looks like
A real person answers
When you reach out, you're talking to Jaxon, Markus, or Doty — not a ticket queue. We reply to every inquiry within one business day.
Direct access to the person building your site
We're a small team, so your project doesn't pass through layers of account managers. Jaxon, who builds and designs every site we ship, is reachable throughout your project.
Milestone payments, so you're never paying blind
You pay in three steps — at kickoff, after you approve the design direction, and before launch. You always see approved progress before the next payment is due.
Built mobile-first
Most of your customers will find you on a phone. We design and test for mobile from the start, not as an afterthought once the desktop version is done.
How it works
A clear process from quote to launch
- 01
Scope & quote
You tell us about your project, we review it, and Jaxon sets a final written price. Nothing is built until you approve it.
- 02
Kickoff & design direction
A 20% kickoff payment starts the work. We build your homepage first so you can approve the design direction early.
- 03
Build & revise
After a 30% milestone, we build the rest of the site and refine it through the revision rounds in your scope.
- 04
Launch & support
The final 50% is due once the site is ready to go live. After launch, ongoing maintenance is available and optional.

How much does a website cost?
It depends on what you need. A simple business website typically starts at $500, a polished multi-page site typically runs $800–$1,200, restaurant sites typically run $700–$1,500 depending on menu size, and ecommerce sites start at $1,000 depending on product count. Custom dashboards and applications are quoted individually. Every project gets a written quote based on your actual scope before any work begins — see our Pricing page for current starting figures.
How do you build the websites?
We custom-build websites using modern web-development tools such as Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Vercel, Shopify, Stripe, and other services appropriate for the project. The stack is chosen per project — an ecommerce store and a restaurant site don't need the same tools — and we'll tell you what we're using and why.
Do you use AI?
Yes, where it's useful. We use AI-assisted development tools to work efficiently, but every project is planned, reviewed, customized, tested, and managed by our team. You're hiring people who are responsible for the result — the tools just help us get there faster.
How long does a project take?
Most business websites take a few weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on how quickly we receive your content and how many revision rounds are needed. We'll give you a realistic timeline as part of your written scope, and we'll flag it early if anything is likely to slow things down.
How do payments work?
Projects are billed in three milestones: 20% at kickoff once you approve the written scope, 30% after you approve the homepage and design direction, and the final 50% before the site goes live. You're never paying for work you haven't seen and approved. Full details are on our Payment & Cancellation Policy page.
What do you need from me to get started?
At minimum, a clear idea of what the site needs to do, your business details, and any existing content (text, photos, logo) you'd like used. If you don't have content ready, tell us — we can talk through options, though writing and photography may affect scope and price.
Tell us about your business
Share a few details about what you need and we'll follow up with next steps — including a starting estimate once we understand your scope.
We reply to every inquiry within one business day.
